This is going to be a brief blog post introducing me. I’m from a medium sized city in Central
Illinois. I was born in Illinois and lived there until I moved to Gainesville, Florida a year ago to attend the University of
Florida. The change from the barren,
cold tundra of Illinois to the tropical, humid climate of Florida was pretty
significant. Not only was it my first
time leaving home and my family, but also my first time living in a completely
new place. Gainesville is around 1,000 miles away from my hometown. I definitely enjoy living in Florida compared
to Illinois. I’m majoring in Accounting
and plan on receiving my Masters in five years.
I am very passionate about business and technology. In the future I would love to work for an
accounting firm or to work in my own startup.
I also am an avid fan of music. I
play several instruments, but my favorite is guitar. I also have just recently started to produce
dance music. Although I’m still pretty
inexperienced at making dance music, I joined a club on campus to grow my skills
