The top resource to my company is probably my leadership experience. I have experience leading a startup and that's not something a lot of people have. If I chose to seriously pursue this venture, my leadership experience would come in handy. Another top resource is my accounting knowledge. I am an accounting major, and my in-depth understanding of company processes and financials would significantly help my potential venture.

  1. Hello Parker, good job on your analysis. I think leadership experience is a great resource to have. I consider that experience to be inimitable. While many people may have leadership experience, I don’t believe that they can copy your experiences and the knowledge that you attained. Some aspects will only bear significance because of how you utilize that experience. Great overall work. You can see my post here…http://acwilliams83.blogspot.com/2016/03/my-unfair-advantage.html

  2. Parker,

I think that you did a better job than I did at the VRIN Analysis because you kind of used a scale to dictate if something was valuable or not. This makes it easier to denote which resource is the most valuable. I just used sentences explaining if they were or weren't so valuable. And for the most part, it seems like all of your resources are of some significant value, so I'm guessing you're on the right track! Maybe for next time, include a mini-description up top of what your idea is to make it easier for us to understand how the resources will be combined to create that one idea.
