Here is my elevator pitch # 2. I didn't complete the assignment elevator pitch #1 so I don't have any feedback to go off of yet. I'm supposed to be reflecting on the feedback I received and the changes I made, but I can't since I didn't do the last assignment. So I don't really know what to put here. Awkward. Please leave your feedback below so next time I have something to write about.
Thanks.
Parker
I find your concept to be fascinating. It's interesting how you will use this app to promote safety for everyone who has access to it. I like the three factors you incorporated into the concept and how other groups can possibly use your idea for themselves. My one concern is that by pointing out safe areas, the less safe areas are at risk of not being improved over time. Is there some way people can enjoy the safe areas located on the app while also still leaving open the opportunity that less safe areas have a chance to be improved for the overall community? Good job on this. Here's my link: http://entintheair.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html
ReplyDeleteParker,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the pitch and definitely a great idea. Especially, if you're unfamiliar with the area you are traveling to or if you're about to move to the area and want to know the safety. Like you said, it was your first pitch, so maybe have someone film you on the next one and also memorize a little more of it. Since, it did kind of look like you were reading as you were doing your pitch.

I think your idea is very interesting. I would suggest standing farther back from the camera next time. Also, I feel you might have gone a little to much in the details of how other businesses could also use this product, unless of course your market is other businesses and not consumers. I would suggest clarifying who you are marketing this to in your next pitch. I would also suggest trying to have a warmer or happier tone.

Hey Parker! I think your idea is very up-and-coming and that is awesome. People are always in a hurry so knowing the quickest, safest routes are a must. You could include speed limits, speed traps, or accident reports in your app as well so users can find the most up to date way to travel. This is a cool idea and drivers everywhere can really benefit from it, I know I get scared driving by myself sometimes in an unsafe area so if I could avoid that I would.
